The Museo Ning Angeles has been commissioned by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) to host the Central Luzon leg of the International Museum Day Celebration which will be held on May 18, 19 and 20, 2011.
In line with this, Museo ning Angeles called on all artists, gallery owners and museum in Central Luzon to join in the celebration of the Museum and Memory: International Museum Day Celebration by having an open-house exhibit on the said dates.
Aside from Halo-halo, swimming and Santa Cruzan in May, another event observed during summer is the Holy Week, which incidentally will start next week.
For our family, the most awaited activity during this week is the Visita Iglesia which we have been doing for three (3) straight years now. A tradition that I hope we could keep until my kids grow up.

Angeles City is also home to the Clark Freeport Zone, a thriving business zone where lots of investors, both local and international, are setting up business to.
Clark Freeport Zone was formerly known as the Clark Air Base, the largest United States military facility outside US.
When Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991, the US Air Force pulled out from the base, greatly affecting the economy of the city which was heavily dependent at the time.
But resilient as the Kapampangans are, they were able to rise from the ashes of Pinatubo, and city is now once again growing, with more business opening up inside the freeport zone as well as in the city proper.
